First dinner Party (saturday)

Well i have been busy since Saturday. Most of the day Saturday I spent cooking and cleaning to have our first guests other than family over to dinner.

I made Chicken Mom-esean And we had spinach salad and crusty breads.

Dh was working til 5 so it was all up to me! oh well it was my idea after all. :)

it was a lovely evening We had the bouncy castle out for the kids to play on . Our company had two boys so there was five kids floating around. 17 mo, 2, 4, 5, and 7 and surprisingly it was really good. they were all well behaved and it was no trouble at all.

It was an attempt to make myself become more extroverted. Having friends over for dinner is certainly something i would consider outside my comfort zone. But I forced myself to do it and i am so glad we did. After supper and the kids went home to bed. dh went to our friends house for a few drinks and my friend came over here for a few drinks

I am glad i did this.
